[11 Dec 2019] Professor Henrik Zetterberg at the University of Gothenburg will head a major European research collaboration, which is developing a significantly easier way to diagnose Alzheimer¿s disease at an early stage through a blood test. Such a test could offer the potential for developing new treatments for Alzheimer¿s and related dementias.
[5 Dec 2019] When proteins in the brain form deposits consisting of insoluble aggregates, diseases such as Alzheimer¿s or Parkinson¿s can occur. Now a research team has come a step closer to understanding this process.
